Kids Snowboard Camps
Trying spins, riding on rails, or hitting jumps … NORTHSTAR will support your child through this challenging camp.
[4th to 9th grade・20 people・ Special inquiry is needed for 3rd grade and under]

Backcountry Camp
Riding the great Norikura Mountain.
[10th grade and up・10 people – intermediate –to- advanced riders only]

180 Snowboard Camp
At this camp you can fully enjoy snowboarding. Lessons and special programs designed for you!

SFC Worship and Ride Camp & Rail Jam
Run by SFC Japan [Snowboarders For Christ], this Rail Jam on the second night of their camp. Famous pro riders will join the camp. Up to 40 people are able to participate in the rail jam competition (this competition is also open to guests who do not stay at the lodge.

We will run our snowboard school as BURTON LTR Center again this winter. We added more boards and boots and are looking forward to you coming. Some people can learn turning in as little as two hours with our LTR boards. You can use us to introduce your family and friends to the snowboarding world. In addition, we will add a rail & jibbing board called the DOMINANT & DOMINANT SLICK into our rental line. We hope you will enjoy these new boards.
At the end of last season, a bunch of great kids who gathered at NORTHSTAR to have a photo & video shoot in the Backcountry of Norikura with the help of Kuraigahara Hut. This event happened through a relationship with former Olympian, Michiyo Hashimoto, AKA Micchyan and her kids camp, Kirara Kamp. Please check the DVD, “1 Pack Snow Kids” from Champion Visions and special issue “Family Snowboarding” in this winters Transworld Snowboarding Japan. You can see some of our staff are in also.
You can get a season pass to Norikura at a special discount price now. It is very popular every season. This season, it will be even better than last year because you can use it at Igaya Ski resort also. If you buy it by November 30th it’s only ¥28,000 [regular price: ¥30000].
