We are offering our original camps this summer. Please have the best adventure experience in cool summer enviorment of Norikura-Kogen.

5Day Challenge

A 5day-backpacking trip starting from Kamikochi and going into The Northern Japan Alps. 5 day-ultimate simple life as putting your food, tent, sleeping back and things you need for your life into a backpack. Let’s find new part of yourself in the great nature.

Date: August 5th to 9th (Tue-Sat) 2008

Group Size/Age Restriction: Up to 12 people/High school and older

Fee: ￥28000 (including all meals, tent/backpack/cooking tool/sleeping bag rental fee)

*Please prepare your own hiking boots and rain gears.

Schedule:

Day1 PM: Registration&Orientation, Staying at NORTHSTAR lodge

Day2 AM: Start hiking from Kamikochi - PM: Arriving to the base camp, Tent-stay

Day3 Hiking & Activity

Day4 Peak Ascent - Mt. Hotaka

Day5 AM: Decending - PM: Arriving to NORTHSTAR, Farewell.

Oya-Ko Adventure Camp (Father-Son/Mother-Daughter)

Parents and kids get together, play and challenge a new adventure. Through knowing the basics we can understand each other In a deepaer manner.

Dates: August 2008

For: Elemntary students and junior high school students, and their parents. (Both children and parents need to join togther)

Group Size: 20 people (10 families)

Fee: ￥48000 (including 2 night lodgings, 5 meals, program fee, insurance fee for 1 parent and 1 child) / ￥20000 for each additional person

Contents:

a parent and the child challenge rock climbing, hiking, river hike, teambuilding etc as a team. As a parents program, we will offer parenting program.

For parents(especially for fathers):

If you think parent-child relationship as a team, the role of parents should be the leader. The center of the family is not the child but the father and he makes the atomospher better and decides the direction of the whole family. So let’s think about where your family is at and the relationship through this camp.

Mitani Cycle Mind Bike Camp

A bike camp run by Matsumoto city local bike shop, Mitani Cycle Mind. Day1 is for road bike hill climb time trial to the Norikura Peak and BBQ dinner. Day2 is for MTB ride guided by NORTHSTAR.

You can enjoy both road biking and mountin biking in two days.
