We have just finished building our new bike maintenance area and installed our new Park tools. While you stay at NORTHSTAR our professional bike staff can now service you Mountain or Road Bike. If you are interested in servicing your own bike we also have another stand and tool kit set aside for our guests to use.
去る7月15−16日乗鞍のトレイルのすばらしさを知ってもらおうとマウンテンバイクショップのオーナー/スタッフを招いての招待ツアーが行われました。
On July 15-16th we will host a Mt. Bike tour here in Norikura and ride some of our best downhill and freeride trails with some of the biggest shop riders and owners in Japan. All this week we have been preparing trails and working on new lines to ride. It should be a great two days of riding.
久しぶりのアップになります。梅雨の合間を縫ってMTBツアーが行われました。
It has been long since last update. We had a MTB tour yesterday.
最初は初心者もいたので、ベーシックなレッスンを1時間。その後トレイルへ
Since we had some beginners, we had a basic riding lesson first and head out to the trails.
初心者といえど、皆さんかなりのレベルのライダー、ついついガイドのペースが上がります。
Even though some of them are begginers, they are good riders and guding pace was getteing faster.
女性も1名参加。初心者でしたが、確実にトレイルをこなしていました。
We had a lady rider. She was a beginner but her riding skill was pretty good.
少し見難いですが、今シーズンからスタッフは
ロッキーマウンテンのジャージを着用しています。トレイルでどこに行っているか分かりやすいので・・・
It is kind of hard to see though our staff started wearing
Rocky Mountain Bycicles Jersey since it is easy to see from guests.

梅雨の合間でしたが、何とか天気ももってくれて良いツアーになりました。
It was in between of rain season though we did not get much rain and had a good ride.
いよいよ乗鞍もマウンテンバイクシーズンです。
Finally, mountain biking season has come to Norikura.
今シーズンも皆さんとすばらしい時間をともに過ごせることを楽しみにしています。

このポールの上に寝て、背中の筋肉、股関節を伸ばし、体をニュートラルな状態に戻します。日本発のコンディショニング方法ですが、メジャーリーグでも採用されているようです。
Lying on the pole and stretch your back, hip joint, etc and making your body nutoral. It is a body conditioning method started from Japan and MLB is now using it for their players.

The winter season is almost ended and I started thinking about mountain biking more. Our director started road bike training from today. Many of MTB filsm have been released already thorugh, finally 3rd film from the Collective will be in stores. Probably
Chanmpion Visions will distribute it in Japan. The
teaser is on the Collective home page. It looks soooo nice!
先日、東京の
BURTONショールームで行われている小売店向けのBURTONディーラーショーへ行ってきました。入り口にはスノーマンとスノーボードをリサイクルしたスカルノオブジェクトが迎えてくれます。
We visited
BURTON Dealer Show in Tokyo on the other day. Big snowman and skull object which is made out of recycled snowboards welcome you at the entrance.
シーズン真っ最中ですが、早くも09シーズンへ向けての商戦はスタートしています。詳細はまだお知らせできませんが、意欲的な商品が並んでいました。レンタルのLTRも更なる改良がされています。
It is right middle in the season though the bussines for 09 season has been started already. We cannot tell you the detail but there are so interesting stuff. Also rentaly LTR products are refined as well.
最近はMTBの話題が少ないですが、ディーラーショーの前後にはバイク関連のミーティングもありました。

The Trail Store. This is the shop owner, Wada-san, former MTB DH nationl champion.

The shop owner, Mr. Kamei. There are some core bikes such as Charge Bikes, pisto bikes and some other town bikes also. The owner helps to find the best bike for you. You can also check his own bike collections.

Also visited the bike shop,
“The Trail Store” at Setagaya in Tokyo. Since thre is no photo, I just put photos of “Bicycle Club” magazine Dec. issue which has an article of that the shop owner, Wada-san used trails at Norikura for shooting.
東京はまだ暖かいですが、乗鞍はもうスノーシーズンに変わりつつあります。今シーズンはかなり期待できそうです。キャンプ、宿泊予約はお早めに！
It is still warm in Tokyo but it is getteing more snow in Norikura. We can expect good winter this year. Please contact us for the winter reservation!
去る１０/３０-３１にMTBガイドミーティングが行われ、日本中から約４０名のMTBガイド、プロライダー、ショップ、メディアが集まりました。
We had MTB guide meeting on Oct. 30-31. About 40 people of MTB guides, pro riders, shops and medias came.
もちろん昼間はライディング。
Of course, we rode during the day.
夜はミーティングもしっかりやりました。
Then we had serious meeting at night.
