We are enjoying lots of MTB tours and many people are just coming to Norikura to enjoy the cool mountain air. It is about 16 degrees at night here and you will not need any AC, if you have a chance come up and say HI.
Early Morning Ride

I had a great early morning ride with our guests! We left NORTHSTAR at 5:30, went down the mountain a bit and then had an enjoyable 25 kilometer ride to Shirakaba Pass. The weather was beautiful, snow on the mountains, monkeys in the trees, and riding with friends. What a blessing to be healthy! What a blessing to have friends! New Firewood Shed

Well, we finally found a use for it. It has now become the frame of our new firewood storage shed. Today with the help of Jake, we turned it into a open walled shed with a metal roof. So now it’s all loaded up with firewood for next years campfires.

Hiking on Sanbondaki Trail

I have not hiked down that trail in a long time and am more use to riding my Mt. Bike on it but we still had a good time hiking in the rain. I also hiked a section of trail for the first time and it was so beautiful.
