We got about 20cm of fresh light powder last night that made for some great smiles today on the hill.
We had lessons in the morning with an early luch and then a short jam session in the park after lunch. The kids showed off their skills in the park with some 180s, jumps and spins on the wide box.
This years Kids English Camp was one of the best we have ever had with lots of kids stepping up every day and also challenging their English ability also.

[jp]Teens Stayが一昨日終了。参加者は最高の5日間を過ごしました。キッズと滑るのは楽しいし、彼らの間に生まれる友情とかパワーとかを見るのも嬉しいものです。まさに“KIDS ROCK!” 彼らはいわゆる『次世代』、全く新しいトリックに挑戦して行くのも彼らです。
ゴールデンウィークにはスプリングパークがオープンし、乗鞍でキッズライダー、ローカルライダー、プロライダーといった『次世代』を見ることができまるでしょう。

[jp]先週末はアルツ磐梯で行われた2009インディパークジャムにオフィシャルカメラマンとして参加してきました。50名を超える小学生から中学生のキッズライダーが参加し、熱いジャムセッションが繰り広げられました。このイベントを主催しているのはキララキャンプの橋本ミッチャン＆今井勇人さん。過去2年、ノーススターは彼らをサポートする形で5月に乗鞍のバックカントリーでスーパーキッズフォトセッションを行っています。今年はゴールデンウィークににキッズスノーボードキャンプを開催できるかもしれません。詳細は検討中ですが、取りあえずはキッズの熱いライディングショットをご覧下さい。我らがアンソニーはなんと2位となりました。おめでとう！[/jp][en]Last weekend I was at the 2009 Indy Park Jam which was held at Alts Bandai. It was a great comp and they had 50 kids from elementary school to junior high school turn out to compete. I was the official photographer for the event and had a great time shooting all day on Sunday. Some of our friends Hayato-san and Michio-san run the event every year and also have come to NORTHSTAR the past 2 years for a camp called Super Kids. We are working on the details for this springs kids camp and will post more about that later. For now, just have a look at some of the photos from the event.
