[jp]スプリングパーク４日目もいい天気の中、バートン試乗会とオーリー大会を出来ました。最終日の明日は、プロライダー杉浦永介によるプロライディングクリニックを行います。プロと一緒に滑れる良いチャンスなのでみなさん見逃さないでください！

同時にバートン試乗会も行うので、来シーズンの板を試してみたいライダーのみなさんドンドン乗鞍温泉スキー場へお越し下さい。

[en]Today We had Burton demo boards and the ollie comp with great weather in the Spring Park. Burton pro rider Keisuke Sugiura is coming to Spring Park tomorrow for a pro rider’s clinic, It will be an awesome chance to ride with a pro so don’t miss it.

We will also be running Burton demo boards again tomorrow so please come and try some of next seasons boards!

[jp]スプリングパーク初日です！ちょうど良い気温のなか１日中いい天気で滑れる事ができました。ロープトウのおかげでライダー皆ハイクアップなしでパークをヒット出来て、ガンガン滑っていました！
ゴールデンウィーク中はずっと晴れる予定なので、皆さんどんどんスプリングパークに遊びに来てください！！[/jp]

遂に明日からスプリングパークオープンです！！皆さんと一緒に滑れるのを楽しみにしています。

[en]Today was the last day of building for the spring park at the top of the mountain. Today we were working on the straight box that we could not get in yesterday and also last shaping of all the items.

Spring park will open tomorrow at 9:30!! We can’t wait to snowboard with all of you!!

Spring Park Building Day 1

[en]For the last week or so Norikura Kanko staff have been moving snow and getting the rope toe ready for the Golden Week Spring Park which will open this Sat. to the following Wed. at the Norikura Onsen Ski Resort. Seiya and I went up yesterday to have a look and took a few photos of the snow cat working on the kicker. It looks really good. Tomorrow our digger crew will start shaping and installing the items for the park and we will post some new photos each day of the building process. Hope you enjoy and please check back tomorrow for an update.[/en]

[jp]今年のゴールデンウィークに行うスプリングパークの準備が着々と進んでいます。先週から乗鞍観光スタッフの人達が雪を集め、ロープトウ設置を行っています。

明日からは、ノーススターのスタッフがスプリングパークに向けて各アイテムの設置、整備を行い、その様子などを毎日写真付きでブログにアップするので欠かさずチェックしてください！

Switching to Winter

[jp]休暇前のノーススターは大忙し。最後のゲストを見送った後はシーズン最後の大掃除。地下のバイクルームはMTBであふれていましたが、冬はその代わりにスノーボードとスキーであふれます。スノーボードパーク用のアイテムも引っ張りだし、次にみなさんがいらっしゃるときにはその違いがはっきりしているでしょう。この冬もお待ちしております。[/jp][en]The last few days at NORTHSTAR have been really busy. We finished our last Fall camp and then went straight into our big season change. As you may already know our basement is full of Mt. Bikes and other outdoor gear in the Summer and Fall and in the winter it is full of Snowboards and Skis. We all have been working hard to prepare the lodge for winter and next time you come you will notice some changes. The NORTHSTAR Backyard Park items are out in the yard now and the rental room is ready and waiting for snowboards and skis.[/en]

Norikura Terrain Park update 1

[en]This season Norikura Kogen Onsen Ski Resort will once again have a great terrain park located at the top of the Romance #1 lift with all freshly serviced boxes, rails, and a few new items that we will tell you about later. Staff are working hard to grind, weld and paint the items for the Main park.

Also, from this year Norikura Kogen has partnered with Michio Hashimoto and her famous “Indy Park” to create a second terrain park designed for kids and beginners that will be located next to the top of the main quad chair lift just down from Sanbondaki Rest House.[/en][jp]今シーズンも乗鞍高原温泉スキー場の第1ロマンスリフト沿いにスノーパークがオープンします。ボックスやレールそれに新しいアイテムも現在準備中です。ノーススタースタッフとボランティアスタッフが研磨、溶接、塗装と作業を進めています。

[jp]Kirara KampとNORTHSTARががっちりとタッグを組んだキャンプがゴールデンウィークに行われます。昨年、一昨年とSuper Kidsを対象にしたシューティングをバックカントリーで行ってきましたが、今シーズンは時期を少し早めて、まだまだ滑りたいというキッズライダーの為のキャンプを開催することになりました。午前中は乗鞍スプリングパークでライディング（ワンポイントレッスン有り、クラス別のレッスンではありません）。午後はノーススターに戻ってマウンテンバイクとチロリアントラバース（ロープを使った川渡り）とスノーボードだけでなく、アウトドアスポーツも存分に楽しんでもらいます。

日程　A日程：2009年5月2日(土)- 4日(月祝) / B日程：2009年5月4日(月)- 6日(水祝)
場所　ノーススター & 乗鞍スプリングパーク（貸し切りではありません）
年齢　小学4年−中学3年のパークライディングができるスノーボーダー（小学1−3年は要相談）
定員　各日程キッズ20名
参加料金　キッズ：¥30,000（2泊6食、プログラム費、傷害保険、パーク入場料を含む）

[en]Kirara Kamp and NORTHSTAR will present a Kids Snowboard Camps in Golden Week. We had photo and video shooting together the last two years for Super Kids and this year is not only for super kids but also for everybody who wants to ride little bit longer. In the morning campers ride in Norikura Spring Park. In the later afternoon they will back to NORTHSTAR lodge and challenge Mountain biking and Tyrollean Traverse.

Dates: Session A: May 2nd-4th(Sat-Mon) / Session B: May 4th-6th(Mon-Wed)
Place: NORTHSTAR & Norikura Spring Park *also open to public.
Ages: 4th to 9th grade snowboarders who can park-ride (1st to 3rd grade need to be accepted on special basis)
Capacity: 20 kids for each session
Fee: Kids: ¥30,000 (include; 2 nights lodging with 6 meals, program fee, insurance, park entrance fee)

Norikura Spring Park in GW

[jp]乗鞍高原温泉スキー場の営業も終了し、今シーズンも無事終了と行った感じですが、今週は積雪もあり、まだまだ行けるのでは? と思っているライダーのみなさんへ朗報です。

残雪が確実に残る乗鞍高原ではゴールデンウィーク時には乗鞍高原－位ヶ原間のバス運行が始まり、バックカントリーを目指すスノーボーダー/スキーヤーで賑わいます。その時期にはまだカモシカコースには雪が残り、残雪でのライディングを楽しむライダーも多いようです。今シーズンはそのカモシカコース下部にハイクアップパークが登場します。ゴールデンウィークもどこかで滑りたいというライダーの皆さんをお待ちしています。

開催期間： 09年5月2日(土)－6日(水)
時間：午前10:00－午後2:00
利用料金：1日: 500円、5日間通し券: 1500円
予定アイテム：キッカー(６m)、ボックス、レール等（アイテムの種類及びサイズは残雪の状況によって変わることがあります。）

[/jp][en]Norikura-Kogen Onsen Skiresort finished the season last weekend though we had some snow falls this week and some of riders might think they need to ride more. Here is a great news for you.

Bus rides to Kuraigahara will start from Golden Week and there will many snowboarders and skiers to go up to backcountry. There will be snow also at the top of ski resort, Kamoshika then. This season, we will have a Spring Park at Kamoshika bottom. It will be a hike up access though we will be waiting for the riders who want to ride more.

HOT DOG JAM

[jp]先週末に予定していたNorikura Hot Dog Jam。悪天候のため1週間遅れでの開催になりましたが、下は12歳から上は34歳まで28名のスノーボーダー、スキーヤーで盛り上がりました。途中ホットドッグか振る舞われ、文字通りのホットドッグジャム、滑って食べて楽しんだジャムセッションでした。参加してくれたみなさん、参加はできなかったけど、今シーズンパークを盛り上げてくれたライダーのみなさん、本当にありがとうございました。また来シーズン、みんなでパークを更に盛り上げていきましょう！

[en]We planned to have Norikura Hot Dog Jam last weekend but because of bad weather it was postponed to this weekend. We had an awesome jam with snowboarders and skiers from 12 years old to 34 years old. Of course we served hot dogs and it was literally a Hot Dog Jam. Everybody rode, eat and enjoyed the session. Thank you so much for those who joined the jam and those who came to the park to it rip up. Let’s pump it up more next season!
