Welcome to an insane location to have an adventure!  Whether it is snowboarding, mountain biking, or road biking we have served all kinds of shops, cycling clubs, and small groups of adventure seeking friends.

What is a group?

A group is a minimum of 10 people who have a “leader” that  organizes the communication, the finances, and the overall movement.

What is the advantage of a group?

The first advantage is that you will receive 10% off of your overall booking right from the start.  Added to that is our ability to help arrange pick ups from Matsumoto or provide special guiding for your group or it could be some sort of special assistance like a birthday cake for a groups member.

What type of groups have come?

NORTHSTAR and Norikura is well known for 2 things:
In the WHITE SEASON it is snowboarding/skiing. with the famous Burton LTR program  (Learn To Ride Center), Burton rental shop, a nice snowboard park on campus, a sick park in the ski resort and our famous powder snow and backcountry riding.
In the GREEN SEASON, Norikura and NORTHSTAR offers world class road biking with the CLASSIC NORIKURA HILL CLIMB’s start right at our door step and add to that the “THREE HILLS” and “NORIKURA CENTURY” and it is truly world class.  Furthermore we offer nationally acclaimed mountain biking trails for beginners to advance, guiding that exceeds industry standards, and MTB instruction based upon CIMC (Canadian Mt. Bike Certificate)… truly it is EPIC riding.
