Trail

With a network that extends through a national park, Norikura offers trails for both the beginner or the expert, for the hiker or the trail runner. Local Fun

With attractions within a short walk from NORTHSTAR, Norikura Kogen provides many scenic points such as alpine flora, snow melt streams, waterfalls, and hot springs to enjoy. For the more the adventurous there are multiple peaks of Norikura or a side trip to Kamikochi, the gate way to the Northern Alps. About an hours drive away is Matsumoto Castle, Takayama’s “Little Kyoto”, and Shin Hodaka’s Ropeway which can take you to Nishi Hodaka’s Peak.
